...celebrate every day...

...take a peek at the gorgeous centerpiece...
...our Tennessee family sent for the holidays...
...it arrived a few days before Christmas...

...everyone at our Christmas brunch enjoyed it...
...and it has lasted and lasted...

...baby's breath and two sizes of white roses...
...and at least five different kinds of evergreens...
...with just a touch of silver and red...
...thank you Lulu and Jimmy...

...this is my favorite of all the little houses I have...
...sitting under a cloche...
...all on a silver plate...

...purchased many years ago...
...it has been photographed over and over...
...hours of enjoyment from this sweet little cottage...

...and so...
...it became the focal point of my 'Happy New Year' greeting...
...we hope you have a wonderful year in 2013...
...take advantage of opportunities...
...wake up happy each morning...
...fill your heart with love...
...then share...

  1. Sally, your blog posts always make me smile, and feel like I've been transferred into another world of so much beauty! These photos are simply breathtaking. Your centerpiece collage is soft, and elegant. Yes your white house is the focal point along with the wonderful quote!

  5. Morning Sally,
Since I couldn't personally visit your sparkling, white cottage this Christmas, I have SO enjoyed your photos and writings. I lived vicariously through your blog and enjoyed each visit. I didn't even get a tree up this year, however, I do have one of your handmade Angels on the inside of my front door and one of your wreaths on the outside of the door. So thanks to you we had a little Christmas decor and it made us feel happy & festive. Once I'm back on my feet I want to come over and visit in your screened porch. And I want to see your kitties too. Sending my best to you & Mr. Nelson for a Happy 2013.
    xoxo Amy
